South Dakota First has two distinct missions. First, we will seek to deliver extraordinary returns to our investors. In doing so, we are committed to transparency and the highest degree of ethical and professional practices and excellence.
Secondly, we believe South Dakota First will be the catalyst needed to elevate the Mount Rushmore State as a clear economic leader in the highly competitive and rapidly changing environment we will encounter in the coming decade.

Further, we believe that South Dakota First can provide critical financial backing, substantial management support and access to a nationwide network of business and governmental relationships. Our Strategy
We leverage our decades of experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic relationship management, and public and private investments to bring to South Dakota First Capital. We are active in sourcing deals through our extensive South Dakota network in the public and private sectors.
We apply a disciplined approach in due diligence and modeling potential investments to target the highest returns for investors. We anticipate the portfolios for each fund to represent 5-6 companies with great management, high growth and early exit opportunities. With these investments, South Dakota First Capital will participate at the board level—and where needed to maximize desired results—in active management.
